Leg Spinner Lamichhane Named as Player of the Month for Sept
Nepal's well known leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has been named for the Global Cricket Gathering's (ICC) Player of the Month grant for September.
The ICC likewise named Bangladesh spinner Nasum Ahmed and American Jaskaran Malhotra for the Player of the Month grant.
Phenomenal bowling execution in Oman tri-country series had cleared way for Sandeep's designation for the honor.
Lamichhane bowled at a bowling economy of 7.38 in six matches of the Oman, USA, and Nepal series.
Sandeep Lamichhane, a Nepali cricketer, also did well in the matches he played against Papua New Guinea, bowling 4/35 and 6/11.
Also up for Women's Player of the Month was England captain Heather Knight.
