Research has been done in the US on the loneliness and mental state of children and adolescents. The article, published in an American health journal, investigated children and adolescents aged 4 to 21 years. In this study conducted in this way, it has been seen that teenagers who live alone are three times more likely to develop depression than in other normal situations. It has been seen in the study that this current loneliness will lead to depression in them for at least 9 years.
In that study, it is also said that it will take at least another 10 years to understand the impact of the current Covid-19 on people's mental health.
