Surkhet kakrebihar temple

Kakrebihar Temple is a Buddhist temple located in Surkhet district of Nepal. It is also known as Kakra Bihar or Kakrau Vihar. The temple is believed to have been built in the 15th century during the reign of King Ratna Malla of the Mall Dynasty.

 

The temple is situated on a hillock and can be reached by climbing a flight of stairs. The main entrance to the temple is decorated with intricate carvings and paintings. The temple has a square-shaped stupa, which is believed to contain the relics of the Buddha.
