'Every Morning I Wake' written by Devraj Tharu, is an extract from under the Milk Wood. In this poem I used to pray to the magnificent god to have mercy on ordinary inhabitants living under the Milk Wood.
This poem is the prayer of a ting creature know as a human being to the magnificent god. The poem is representative of human kind who are born to die. The speaker who is a devote of god. I wake up and prays to God for his mercy to Human creatures. I didn't say to the god's mercy not only to me but all the poor creatures. God is omnipotent in the sense that the god is the creator and destroyer of the everything in the planet. As the god is immortal I prays for the blessings to make our like beautiful.
Every evening before I sleeps, I am not sure that I will see Tomorrow or not but I used to pray to the god for his blessings so that I can see tomorrow. I further saying that we human beings are not wholly bad or good but the god knows our best sides but nor our worst sides.
- The blessings of god every night makes us able to see Tomorrow morning. So I used to bows down and prays to keep us alive. And at the final line I am confused in the sense that I says good bye not forever because I'm not sure of my waking up tomorrow morning.
